The Estous Sandstone
Age: Upper part of the Campanian (70 My.)
Thickness: 10 metres
Fossils: Bone and egg fragments of Dinosaurs.
Description: This unit appears in relief between the units of the
Lower red Marl formation. It is a massive sandstone,
a few metres thick, with a lot of channels
sometimes separated by thin red marl
layers.
