        When examined more closely, the mudrock of this unit can be seen to 
          have a gently dipping lamination (above the lower geologist's head). 
          The rock will split along these laminations - it is fissile. 
          Fissile mudrocks are called shales. Scale:  Use the geologists as a scale! Grid reference:
