Windley Key Fossil Reef State Geological Site.



A section seen in the quarry walls. On the right are in situ columnar coral colonies. The space between the colonies, and all of the left-hand side of the picture, is made up of gravel-sized material derived from the reef. Move the cursor over the image to see where the corals and the rubble are.
