More detailed interpretation

In images 2 and 3, we interpreted the processes which deposited these coarse beds, in general terms. To arrive at a more specific interpretation of processes, conditions and environment, we require further information.

One important item of information is to determine the nature and composition of the material making up the coarser beds.

What clasts can you identify on this photograph?

Elsewhere in these coarse beds, whole solitary corals, and fragments of coral colonies may be found.
